Valeura Energy says all its E&P personnel are safe and accounted for following this morning’s earthquake in neighboring Myanmar.
The earthquake struck central Myanmar, about 1,000 km from Bangkok. Although damage was reported to some buildings in Thailand, all Valeura’s facilities offshore in the Gulf of Thailand are operating safely, the company reported, with no immediate indications of damage.
Valeura Energy has budgeted 2025 capex in the range of $125 million to 150 million for its global E&P programs, plus about $11 million for exploration drilling.
