Nabors and Corva expand strategic alliance to accelerate digital innovation
Nabors Drilling Technologies and Corva AI have announced the expansion of their strategic alliance, reinforcing their shared vision to accelerate digital transformation in the drilling industry.
Building on their strategic alliance, Nabors and Corva say they are extending their collaboration into the RigCLOUD platform to advance drilling intelligence and broaden industry impact.
The companies say that “RigCLOUD Powered by Corva” is a “fully integrated” drilling intelligence solution that is set to combine Nabors’ edge and cloud computing platform with Corva’s AI-driven analytics.
Leveraging Corva’s Platform-as-a-Service and drilling solutions, Nabors aims to extend its operational reach across diverse data residency jurisdictions and accelerate entry into new markets by strengthening services for E&P customers and third-party drilling contractors.
The companies added that the new drilling intelligence solution will enhance real-time data processing, predictive insights, and performance optimization, giving operators and contractors the ability to improve decision-making and maximize efficiency.
The new drilling intelligence solution will equip customers with industry-leading tools to unlock new opportunities across operations, the companies say. More specifically, it will enable:
- Seamless edge-to-cloud integration to deliver a consistent, integrated experience across both remote and rigsite user environments through real-time rig data processing and cloud computing.
- Drilling intelligence at the rigsite to provide actionable insights to drilling crews through Corva applications, when bandwidth permits.
- Flexible and scalable solutions for customers. This will empower customers to use RigCLOUD and Corva independently or together, with the option to integrate the SmartROS rig operating system for additional automation solutions.
- Joint application development. This will allow Nabors and Corva to jointly create transformative AI and ML technologies for the drilling industry.
