Acteon has signed a non-exclusive memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tokyo-based TAISEI Corp. concerning the latter’s floating offshore wind projects in Japan.
In connection with the construction of the floating concrete structures for the Equinor Hywind Tampen project, InterMoor, a moorings and anchors brand of Acteon, provided support during the construction phase of the project in 2022.

Acteon has signed a non-exclusive memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tokyo-based TAISEI Corp. concerning the latter’s floating offshore wind projects in Japan.
Under the proposed arrangement, Acteon would provide its experience in mooring solutions for various types of floating facilities, from design and engineering through decommissioning.
Its service offering includes anchor and mooring system construction, floating infrastructure positioning and hooking up, mooring installation and inspection, maintenance, repair and replacement, and late-life disposal.
TAISEI aims to mass produce concrete semisubmersible wind turbine foundations.
