TotalEnergies and its partners in the Danish Underground Consortium have sanctioned a further new well on the Haldan Field.

TotalEnergies and its partners in the Danish Underground Consortium (DUC) have sanctioned a further new well on the Haldan Field in the North Sea, DUC member BlueNord said in an update.

The Harald East Middle Jurassic well started drilling on June 17, and the partners have now extended the contract for the jackup Shelf Drilling Winner by a further 17 months.

At the redeveloped Tyra complex, also in the Danish North Sea, the Tyra West platform is ready to start operations with all the wells unplugged, while more than 50% of the Tyra East wells are also unplugged.

Hookup and commissioning has finished on the Tyra satellite fields, Roar, Tyra South East, Harald and Valdemar. Temporary production from Harald should begin shortly, initially supporting the Tyra commissioning program.

BlueNord expects an imminent part-resumption of gas exports from Tyra with plateau production to follow during the fourth quarter.
