North Sea Tyra compressor problem still hampering production

OSLO, Norway — TotalEnergies continues to assess an issue with the IP compressor at the recently onstream Tyra Field complex in the Danish North Sea.

This has affected commissioning of new facilities during the ramp-up and testing period. Volumes from Tyra II will likely remain impacted into May, said partner BlueNord.

The duration of the testing program and commissioning plan for achieving technical milestones and ramp-up to the 8.1 MMcm/d technical capacity could be prolonged by at least one month.
