Aker BP has produced first oil from the Tyrving field, a subsea tieback to the Alvheim FPSO in the Norwegian North Sea.
State-owned Petoro and PGNiG Upstream Norway are the other partners in the development.
Three wells and two new subsea manifolds are connected to existing infrastructure at the East Kameleon satellite field, with production routed from there to the FPSO.
Estimated recoverable resources from Tyrving are about 25 MMboe.
