The Ramform Titan, Ramform Atlas, Ramform Tethys and Ramform Hyperion vessels are 70 m wide at the stern and equipped with 24 reels, each capable of holding more than 10 km of streamlined seismic recording equipment with in-built GeoStreamer technology, and positioning units.
TGS has secured 4D streamer contracts for two projects offshore Norway.
The company will deploy a Ramform vessel to acquire the surveys in the North Sea and Norwegian over an 80-day period, starting in June.
TGS now has six 4D streamer contracts lined up this summer season on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
