SKUDENESHAVN, Norway — Normand Ships AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Solstad Offshore, has sold the Normand Jarl construction support vessel to a buyer outside of the offshore industry.
Delivery of the vessel to the new owner is estimated to take place during first-quarter 2023.
Solstad Offshore will recognize a gain on the sale of about MNOK 420 [US$43 million] to be reflected in the first-quarter 2023 accounts.
