UTRECHT, the Netherlands – Stork Technical Services has committed $3.2 million to a new daughter craft, Edradour.
The vessel will be delivered to the group’s Subsea division later this month and will provide additional operational support for Stork’s diving operations. The existing fleet comprises further daughter craft, theAberlour mother vessel, the SIEM Stork, and three dive intervention craft.
Edradour has the same design specification as the Aberlour, which will allow both crafts to be interchangeable with the existing twin davit system.
The new vesselEdradourhas additional lifting capability for four-point lifting, providing vessel crane launch and recovery capabilities, and increased generator capacity. This, Stork says, should result in greater ROV and electrical equipment capacity.
