McDermott orders subsea components from Navantia’s Arnish yard

Last month Navantia UK completed its acquisition of Harland & Wolff’s facilities in Belfast (pictured), Appledore, Methil and Arnish.
Navantia UK announces that its Arnish fabrication site in the Outer Hebrides, offshore mainland northwest Scotland, has secured a contract to fabricate subsea structures for McDermott Trinidad.
The year-long contract will support Navantia’s plans to grow the workforce at Arnish, one of four UK yards the Spanish marine engineering group recently acquired from Harland & Wolff.
