Petrobras' Wet Christmas Tree (ANM), ANM 2.0, enables intelligent completion and gas lift – a method of injecting compressed gas to artificially lift fluids – even for oils with high contaminant content, the company said.
TechnipFMC has secured a contract by Petrobras to supply flexible pipe for the presalt fields offshore Brazil, following completion of a tender.
The contract covers the design, engineering and manufacture of flexible pipe for water injection and gas lift.
TechnipFMC said the contract value is worth between $250 million and $500 million.
