The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) has issued licenses for commissioning and operation of the Lolland-Falster gas pipeline in Danish territorial waters.

This is part of a major new gas pipeline project between Everdrup on Zealand and Nakskov on Lolland; the pipeline runs subsea at the Storstrømmen and Guldborg Sund sea crossings.

Energinet has the license for the Storstrømmen, while Evida’s license covers the section in Guldborg Sund.

Lolland-Falster's total length is about 115 km long and is designed to transport up to 290 MMcm/year of gas. It is due to be commissioned by Aug. 30.
