HOUSTON– Noble Energy and its partners have started the first exports of Israeli gas from the offshore Tamar field to industrial customers in Jordan.
During 1Q, drilling of the Tamar 8 development well was completed, with production flowing in early April.
At theLeviathan project, development activities and project spend have started, with drilling in progress on two of the four first-phase production wells. These will have combined flow capability of 1.2 bcf/d.
Offshore Equatorial Guinea, the company has executed a unitization agreement with the partners of block D for the Alba production-sharing contract.
Noble’s interest in the Alba field is now slightly lower, at 33%.
