LUXEMBOURG Subsea7 has issued progress reports on its subsea and offshore wind construction projects.

The Bintan spoolbase has completed fabrication of pipe stalks for the Scarborough and Barossa projects offshore Australia. Seven Oceans and Seven Oceanic have started pipelay operations.

In the Turkish sector of the Black Sea, procurement has started for Turkish Petroleum’s Sakarya Phase 2a subsea development.

Offshore Brazil, engineering continues for the Mero 3 and 4 developments in the presalt Santos Basin.

For Equinor’s Bacalhau project, Seven Vega, Seven Pacific and Seven Cruzeiro have installed pipelines and umbilicals.

Seaway Strashnov has sailed to Angola to work on the Sanha Lean Gas subsea project.

As for offshore wind, Seaway Alfa Lift has been installing transition pieces at Dogger Bank A in the UK southern North Sea, Seaway Phoenix continues cable lay at the Changfang and Xidao wind farms offshore Taiwan, and the Maersk Connector has installed one export cable and four inner-array cables at Yunlin.

In addition, the newbuild Seaway Ventus, said to be one of the world’s largest self-propelled jackup installation vessels, is in transit from the yard in China to Europe.
