NewMed Energy says Leviathan, with 22.9 Tcf of recoverable gas, is the largest natural gas reservoir in the Mediterranean and one of the largest producing assets in the region.

HERZELIA, Israel — Chevron Mediterranean and its partners in the Leviathan Field development offshore Israel have concluded an export agreement with Energy Infrastructures Ltd. (PEI).
According to NewMed Energy, this allows for deliveries of condensate from the field via the PEI pipeline and associated systems.
Exports to the Ashdod Refinery in western Israel should start next month.
