OSLO, Norway—PGS has secured its first ultrahigh-resolution offshore wind farm site characterization program.
The seismic acquisition survey will cover two European sites, both in the development phase. PGS will mobilize a 3D vessel for the project in early April and should complete acquisition toward the end of June.
It will deploy its ultrahigh-resolution 3D P-Cable system, which is said to deliver more detailed subsurface data for shallower targets than traditional seismic acquisition systems.
