Mutually redundant twin engine rooms provide a total power pack of 26.4 Megawatts to drive three 6000 kW controlled pitch propellers. Ramform Hyperion can tow a full spread of multisensor recording equipment using just two of them.

OSLO, Norway—PGS has a new 3D seismic acquisition contract for exploration purposes in the Mediterranean Sea, awarded by an unnamed energy company.
The company is mobilizing its Ramform Hyperion vessel for the campaign, which it expects to complete in late April.
