STRAUME, Norway – Aker BP has delivered the first end of well report generated from AGR’s iQx system on the Hyrokkin and Delta/Nordfjellet exploration wells offshore Norway, both drilled by the jackup Maersk Interceptor.
Data in the iQx application is used to auto-populate the end of well report, thereby saving time and ensuring data in internal systems is correct, AGR said.
Most of the data in the report is transferred directly from Aker BP’s daily drilling reporting system; experiences, section summaries and scanned pdfs are added directly into iQx in an intuitive way, the company added.
As the application is a web-based collaboration platform, responsibilities can be assigned for various chapters to the offshore team and/or service companies, with resultant standardized reports across project teams.
Aker BP is using this end of well reporting method for the remaining development wells on theIvar Aasen field in the North Sea.
