PERTH, Australia – BHP has spudded Concepcion-1, the latest in a series of exploration wells testing the Magellan play offshore Trinidad and Tobago.
Earlier, theVictoria-1 and Bongos-2 wells both encountered gas and were subsequently P&A’d.
Bongos-1, however, experienced mechanical difficulty and was abandoned two months later.
