NEW YORK– Hess’ net production from its North Malay Basin project offshore Malaysia doubled during 3Q to 31,000 boe/d.
Operations at the full-field development began in July 2017.
During July the company entered a sale and lease-back arrangement for a floating, storage and offloading vessel to handle produced condensate from the field.
Elsewhere offshore Malaysia, International Petroleum Corp. plans further infill drilling to sustain production from itsBertam field following two successful campaigns in 2016 and 2018.
