WILMSLOW, UK – Ensco has contracted EM&I to perform a bottom in water survey (UWILD) on the semisubmersible rig ENSCO 5004, which is currently drilling offshore Libya.
This is EM&I’s first contract both for Ensco and on a semisubmersible. It will deploy its ODIN and NoMan technology for the survey.
Graham Cross, EM&I special project director, said: “The initial site survey has been completed and we will now deliver the rest of the scope using a combination of ODIN, NoMan, and rope access inspection.”
