LONDON – Wood Group Mustang has awarded RDS a pre-front-end engineering study for Statoil’s proposed Snorre C TLP.
TheSnorre field spans blocks 34/4 and 34/7 in the Tampen area of the Norwegian North Sea, in a water depth of 300-350 m (984-1,148 ft).
RDS, a subsidiary of drilling contractor KCA Deutag, will allocate a team of up to 20 over the next five months for the design of the drilling facilities on the TLP.
