OSLO, Norway – DNO says The West Bukha-5 well is back online following a comprehensive workover offshore Oman.

The well has tested 2,600 b/d of oil and liquids and 10 MMcf/d (283,169 cm/d), increasing deliveries from block 8.

The company is reprocessingWest Bukha 3D seismic data and reviewing the reservoir model with a view to evaluate potential new drilling targets and additional exploration opportunities. One prospect has been identified close to the field.

Offshore the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, DNO’s Saleh-8 well is producing into existing infrastructure to enable production and pressure monitoring. Artificial lift studies continue on the Saleh field’s part-depleted upper Wasia reservoir.

In theSfax exploration permit in the Gulf of Gabes offshore Tunisia, the company is preparing to start a 3D seismic program and will also drill the Jawhara-3 exploration well.
