The semisubmersible Bredford Dolphin has spudded Lundin Petroleum’s latest exploration well in the Utsira High area of the Norwegian North Sea.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden – The semisubmersible Bredford Dolphin has spudded Lundin Petroleum’s latest exploration well in the Utsira High area of the Norwegian North Sea.
The main aim is to prove hydrocarbons in Jurassic sandstone reservoirs. Lundin estimates potential resources in Biotitt at 124 MMboe. Drilling is estimated to last around 35 days.
