Offshore staff
HOUSTON –Erin Energy Corp. is completing operations to tie in the Oyo 7 well offshore Nigeria and expects to begin production in mid-June.
TheOyo 9 well is producing 7,200 b/d of oil and Erin is planning to drill a first Miocene exploration well in 2016.
Erin Energy said it has four drill-ready exploration prospects, with combined recoverable P50 resources of approximately 3 Bboe.
Elsewhere in Africa,Erin Energy and Gambia are reviewing work plans for 3D seismic in blocks A2 and A5 expected to start next month, as well as an exploration well in 2018.
