BOURNEMOUTH, UK – Petronas has contracted Drilling Systems to provide its "Drill the Well on Simulator" solution for a three-year training and development program.
Drilling Systems, part of 3T Energy Group, will develop customized simulations of drilling and well control scenarios with local partners in Malaysia for Eftech Energy Solutions, a specialist in real-time operations services and drilling digitalization.
In addition, Drilling Systems’ digital twin technology will mimic the rig environment, allowing customization of the equipment and control systems based on the rig used for the well.
