LONDON – Neptune Energy expects to spend around $150 million on exploration and appraisal this year, drilling up to 11 wells.
The line-up includes appraisal wells on the Dugong and Maha discoveries and an exploration well on the Dugong Tail prospect.
Unscheduled maintenance last year at the Snøhvit complex in the Barents Sea will impact on Neptune’s production in 2021, the company said.
Snøhvit should be back onstream in early 4Q 2021. Other projects approaching start-up are Duva in the Norwegian North Sea and Merakes offshore Indonesia.
Neptune is targeting average production of 130-145,000 boe/d in 2021.
