OSLO, Norway – Equinor will use Seadrill’s semisubmersible West Hercules to drill the Røver Nord prospect in the Norwegian North Sea, with an option for a side track.
This follows approval from Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority.
The location is in license PL 923, in 349 m (1,145 ft) water depth. Depending on the outcome of the first well, drilling could last for 65 days.
