PSE Kinsale Energy Ltd. and Tullow Oil have awarded Stena Drilling contracts offshore Ireland and Suriname, respectively.

ABERDEEN, UK – PSE Kinsale Energy Ltd. and Tullow Oil have awarded Stena Drilling contracts offshore Ireland and Suriname, respectively.
The company revealed via social media that the semisubmersible Stena Spey will decommission 10 wells at the Kinsale field offshore Ireland. The rig is expected to mobilize in 1Q 2021 and start the campaign in April 2021. The work is expected to take 180 days to complete.
AGR Well Management is the lead contractor managing the design, supply chain, and execution of both the platform and subsea well decommissioning work scopes on behalf of PSE Kinsale Energy Ltd.
The Stena Spey is currently under contract with Dana Petroleum Ltd. (E&P) in the central North Sea.
Also, Tullow Oil Suriname BV has contracted the drillship Stena Forth to drill one well in block 47, about 260 km (162 mi) offshore.
The Stena Forth is expected to mobilize to Suriname in late December 2020/early January 2021. Drilling is expected to start in January/February 2021.
