Shell has secured approval from Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority to use the semisubmersible Borgland Dolphin for drilling of a production well.

OSLO, Norway – Shell has secured approval from Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority to use the semisubmersible Borgland Dolphin for drilling of a production well.
The 65-day program on the Knarr field in production license 373S should start later in February or in March.
The Borgland Dolphin is an Aker H3 design which received an acknowledgement of compliance in September 2004.
