    Shelf books offshore work for three rigs

    DUBAI, UAE – Shelf Drilling has secured two-year extensions of contracts for the jackups Shelf Drilling Tenacious and Shelf Drilling Mentor.

    This follows the client taking up priced options in the contracts. Both rigs are now committed until January 2022.

    In the Gulf of Thailand, Chevron has contracted the jackup Shelf Drilling Scepter for a long-term program starting in 1Q 2020 and continuing until 2Q 2022, with a one-year extension option.
