ABERDEEN, UK – Deep Casing Tools (DCT) has formed an alliance in Norway with National Oilwell Varco Completion Tools.
The agreement gives NOV’s Completions & Production Solutions division to DTC’s technology which includes the TurboCaser, TurboRunner, and MechLOK drill pipe swivel.
NOV Completion Tools will be DCT’s service provider in Norway, initially under the guidance and training of DCT staff.
In turn, DCT hopes to gain access via NOV to new markets elsewhere.

“NOV Completion Tools is growing its completions division through a mixture of organic growth, acquisitions and by partnering with smaller technology companies and we are one of those smaller technology companies…
“We have our turbine driven reamer tools and our lockable drill pipe swivel which can differentiate their product offering from the rest. We also have other tools coming through which may go commercial this year.”
