Worley supporting Phase 2 FSRU project in German waters

Deutsche Energy Terminal (DET) has contracted Worley to perform services for Phase 2 of the Brunsbüttel Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) terminal in Brunsbüttel, northern Germany.

Deutsche Energy Terminal (DET) has contracted Worley to perform services for Phase 2 of the Brunsbüttel Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) terminal in Brunsbüttel, northern Germany.
The work scope includes installation of a permanent jetty and related gas import facilities.
Worley’s offices in the UK and Germany will oversee construction, installation and commissioning, with the company also providing engineering and procurement.
DET is a subsidiary of the German federal government. Phase 2 follows DET’s completion of Phase 1, also with Worley, during the winter of 2022-2023, integrating LNG supplies into Germany’s energy grid.
