Mermaid extends rolling offshore dive support contract

BANGKOK, Thailand – Mermaid Maritime, under a joint venture with an offshore services operator, has extended its IRM contract with an unnamed NOC until late 2025.
The company will continue to perform diving services using its DP2 saturation dive support vessel Mermaid Asiana, ROVs, diving equipment and divers.
Mermaid’s partner will provide other offshore vessel-related services and logistics.
Estimated value to Mermaid of the extension period is around $125 million.
