HOUSTON — Petrobras is highlighting its redevelopment of the Marlim Field in the Campos Basin and technologies to cut emissions at offshore fields at OTC this week.
Yesterday, the company received the 2024 Distinguished Achievement Award for its contribution to the Campos Basin Renewal Program, said to be the world's largest deepwater mature asset recovery project.
Today’s program at OTC includes:
9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. "Marlim and Campos Basin Revitalization: A Real Scale Lab for Deepwater Mature Oilfield Technologies" (technical session)
11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. "Petrobras in the Energy Transition: Producing Low Carbon Oil and Preparing for the Future" (Executive Dialogue session) presented by Petrobras CEO Jean-Paul Terra Prates
12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. "Marlim and Campos Basin Offshore Asset Revitalization and Life Extension: Increasing Recovery and Environmental Resilience" (Keynote Speaker Series), with presentations by deepwater executive manager Paulo Marinho and production development projects executive manager Mariana Cavasin
2 p.m. to 5 p.m. "Brazil is the World's High Spot of Clean and Decarbonized Energy Matrix (Around the World session) with the participation of Cenpes executive manager Maiza Goulart
On Wednesday, Carlos Travassos, director of engineering, technology and innovation, will attend the Brazil Energy Breakfast (BRATECC) and will also participate at the 12:30 p.m.Keynote Speaker Series session called "Broken Supply Chains: The Quest to Implement the World's Largest Deepwater Production Development Portfolio."
On Thursday, Jaime Turazzi, general manager of RD&I in energy transition and sustainability, will join a panel for the 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. session titled "Offshore Carbon Storage: Off and Running!"
