Schneider enters MoU with Aramco

Saudi Aramco and Schneider Electric Saudi Arabia have signed a memorandum of understanding under Aramco’s Digital Transformation Program.

DHAHRAN, Saudi ArabiaSaudi Aramco and Schneider Electric Saudi Arabia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) under Aramco’s Digital Transformation Program.

The MoU covers a wide area of topics to various sectors, including oil and gas, such as augmented and virtual reality, the industrial Internet of Things, Big Data, advance analytics, and 3D asset virtualization.

It will also examine power management systems and integrated manufacturing operations management.

The MoU will establish goals for increasing research outcomes in digital solutions and will lead to a strengthening of Schneider Electric’s local presence, especially in solution development, manufacturing, and support.

It is one of various cooperation agreements Aramco has signed to support its 2020 Transformation Program and theKingdom’s Vision 2030
