RockRose in North Sea transactions with two Japanese groups

RockRose Energy has agreed to acquire Idemitsu Petroleum UK from Japan’s Idemitsu Kosan.
LONDON – RockRose Energy has agreed to acquire Idemitsu Petroleum UK from Japan’s Idemitsu Kosan.
The associated assets include interests in various producing fields in the UK North Sea:

Subject to approval from the UK’s Oil & Gas Authority, Idemitsu employees and the company’s London offices will also transfer to RockRose, assisting with management of these and the company’s existing portfolio.
In August, RockRose also agreed to purchase Sojitz Energy Project from Japan’s Sojitz Corp.
Sojitz’s southern UK North Sea interests include:
15% of the Tors Field Unit Area, comprising the Kilmar and Garrow fields, both linked to the Trent field complex
7.5% of the Grove Field Unit Area in part-block 49/10a and 49/9c, which exports through the Dutch offshore Markham complex
10% of the Seven Seas Field Unit Area, 80 km (50 mi) east of the Dimlington terminal on the Lincolnshire coast.
