ABERDEEN, UK – Repsol Sinopec Resources UK has awarded Peterson a new long-term integrated logistics contract to support the company’s North Sea operations.
In the process, marine and quayside operations will switch from Peterhead on the Scottish east coast to Aberdeen, with integrated supply base, logistics, transport and warehousing operations provided from Peterson’s Aberdeen Operations Centre.
Last year Peterson’s Aberdeen quayside operations handled record tonnage, including 550,000 metric tons (606,271 tons) across Aberdeen harbor.
Increased work has led to the company to add more than 30 people to the team, expand its transport fleet and to assume operation of additional warehousing.
