Wood Group Kenny wins subsea contract in Ghana

Wood Group Kenny has been awarded an engineering services contract to support Tullow Ghana Ltd and its partners through the execution phase of the Tweneboa, Enyenra, and Ntomme (TEN) project, offshore Ghana.

HOUSTONWood Group Kenny (WGK) has been awarded an engineering services contract to support Tullow Ghana Ltd and its partners through the execution phase of the Tweneboa, Enyenra, and Ntomme (TEN) project, offshore Ghana.

WGK will provide subsea, umbilical, risers, and flowlines (SURF) engineering services. The company will provide Tullow with project engineering resources, specialist technical support, and technical assurance services across the SURF implementation work scope through to first oil.

The Tweneboa, Enyenra, and Ntomme oil fields are situated in the Deepwater Tano area, offshore Ghana, 30 km (19 mi) from the existing Jubilee field. Development of the TEN Project is being led by Tullow Oil, with partners Ghana National Petroleum Corp., Kosmos Energy LLC, Anadarko Petroleum Corp., and PetroSA.

First oil from the TEN fields is scheduled for mid-2016, and the nominal production capacity of the FPSO is 80,000 boe/d.
