BP commissions PD&MS for Caspian platform services

ABERDEEN, UK – PD&MS Energy has signed its third new engineering contract with BP.

Under this three-year contract, the contractor will provide platform engineering services and upgrades for BP-operated projects in theAzerbaijan (Caspian Sea)/Georgia/Turkey region. There are options to extend the term by another five years.

PD&MS has opened an office in Baku, creating 25 local jobs, supported by staff in Aberdeen.

The company’s previous contracts came fromBP in Norway and in the UK, covering the major’s entire UK North Sea platform drilling assets.
