Servi Group has announced plans to open a new production facility in Houston.

SKI, Norway– Servi Group has announced plans to open a new production facility in Houston.
The company has historically provided hydraulic solutions and systems to the Norwegian offshore industry, but with this move has expanded its presence in the American market. Servi develops and produces custom hydraulic systems, cylinders and valves.
Nils Flaa, president of Servi Fluid Power, opened a sales office in 2013, but recognized the opportunity to increase local capability such as production and service.
The Houston site will not only offer power and motion control systems, but also expand the company’s portfolio by producing hydraulic accumulators.
Servi Fluid Power has appointed Kevin Rasefske as executive vice president and Rao Choday as vice president of sales and marketing.
