HOUSTON -- Seatronics has opened a new calibration and cable molding facility in Houston. The $200,000 calibration laboratory is the only independent suite in the US providing calibration for brands such as Valeport, Paroscientific, Sonardyne International, Ixsea, Tritech International, and Aandera, the company says.

The facility will provide sound velocity, conductivity, depth, and temperature calibrations traceable to national standards.

According to Seatronics, the laboratory, complemented by the $50,000 cable molding facility, has nearly doubled the size of the company's US operations.
