Three companies set to join INPEX in block north of Ichthys field offshore Australia

INPEX Cash Maple has signed an agreement to transfer nearly 4% of its interest in the AC/RL7 block offshore Western Australia to OPIC Australia, Osaka Gas Ichthys and Toho Gas Ichthys Development.

INPEX Cash Maple has signed an agreement to transfer nearly 4% of its interest in the AC/RL7 block offshore Western Australia to OPIC Australia, Osaka Gas Ichthys and Toho Gas Ichthys Development.
Completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.
The 418-sq-km block, in water depths of 120 m to 240 m, is 250 km northeast of the Ichthys gas-condensate field, which supplies gas to the Ichthys LNG Project.
It contains various undeveloped gas and condensate discoveries that could be developed through the Ichthys offshore complex.
