Bluestream receives light work-class ROV

Bluestream has taken delivery of another ROV from Saab Seaeye. The 2,000-m (6,562-ft) depth-rated Cougar XT is the second in the range to join Bluestream’s 11 strong ROV fleet.

DEN HELDER, the Netherlands –Bluestream has taken delivery of another ROV from Saab Seaeye. The 2,000-m (6,562-ft) depth-rated Cougar XT is the second in the range to join Bluestream’s 11 strong ROV fleet.

It features an array of cameras, sonar, five-function manipulator, and hydraulic disk cutter. A detachable bare skid also has been supplied for tooling options to perform tasks such as drill support, HP cleaning, grinding, salvage, intervention and nondestructive testing, pipeline survey work, pipe-tracking, and IRM work.
