ASCO to provide logistics support for Brae in North Sea

Marathon Oil UK has awarded ASCO a £50 million-plus ($79-million) contract to supply support services to the Brae field complex in the UK central North Sea.

ABERDEEN, UK – Marathon Oil UK has awarded ASCO a £50 million-plus ($79-million) contract to supply support services to the Brae field complex in the UK central North Sea.
The five-year deal, with extension options, starts next month.
ASCO’s South Base in Peterhead, north of Aberdeen, will manage the program, providing quayside services, warehouse management, and marine gas oil.
Earlier this year the company won further contracts fromBP E&P and Statoil UK.
