KINTORE, UK — OEG Energy Group has agreed to acquire subsea/topsides services provider Bluestream Offshore, based in Den Helder, the Netherlands.

Bluestream employs more than 300 personnel supporting operations involving surface diving, ROVs, working at height, rope access and unmanned aerial vehicles for offshore installation, maintenance and decommissioning programs. Clients include major operators in the southern North Sea.

Its R&D department is also working on cost-saving solutions for the renewable energy industry in Europe, where OEG is aiming to expand its operating footprint.

This will be the group’s fifth acquisition so far this year, subject to regulatory closure. For instance, OEG acquired 23 Degrees Renewables earlier this year.
