Bourbon to provide logistics for Shell in Namibia

Shell has awarded Bourbon an integrated logistics package contract for its deepwater exploration campaigns offshore Namibia and Sao Tomé.

MARSEILLE, France – Shell has awarded Bourbon an integrated logistics package contract for its deepwater exploration campaigns offshore Namibia and Sao Tomé.

The project scope covers international shipment and clearance of equipment from Houston to Walvis Bay and management of the logistics base and associated services such as handling and lifting, material management, storage and warehousing, waste management, and tank cleaning.

The company will also provide three platform supply vessels (two PX105 and one P105).

Its local branch, Bourbon Logistics Namibia, will provide the services along with partner Logistics Support Services.
