TechnipFMC taking charge of intervention venture

TechnipFMC plans to acquire the remaining 49% of shares in the TIOS joint venture to give it full ownership.

HOUSTONTechnipFMC plans to acquire the remaining 49% of shares in the TIOS joint venture to give it full ownership.

TIOS, formed by the company and Island Offshore Management in 2018, provides riserless light well intervention (RLWI) services, including project management and engineering for P&A, riser-less coiled tubing, and well completion and intervention operations.

It has serviced more than 740 wells globally.

The company will continue to use Island Offshore as the vessel provider for these services.
