OSTEND, Belgium – Allseas has contracted NHV to provide helicopter services in support of the Energinet Europipe II branch pipeline project in the North Sea.

The weekly flights will depart from NHV’s base in Esbjerg: according to the company, the Airbus Helicopter Super Medium type H175 is designed to meet evolving mission needs in the oil and gas industry.

NHV’s first two H175 aircraft entered service in December 2014, and operations have since expanded to bases in the North Sea and West Africa.

Allseas is installing a new pipeline connection between the Europipe II pipeline system in the North Sea and a landfall in Denmark, as part of the Baltic Pipe project.

Baltic Pipe will take supplies from Norwegian fields to Denmark and on to Poland and neighboring countries via a subsea pipeline in the Baltic Sea.
