SINGAPORE – Jadestone Energy has contracted the jackup Ensco 107 for infill drilling on the Stag oilfield offshore Australia.
The rig will mobilize to start work on the program in early March after completing its current operation in Dampier.
This will be the first infill well on the field since 2013. Jadestone intends to drill the Stag-49H well from the field’s wellhead platform, as a horizontal oil producer, targeting unswept pay of round 1.2 MMbbl in the reservoir to the southwest.
Drilling should last roughly 34 days.
